1T POTN/DWDM System (200G IF) at SINA Co. (2018)
The 1T POTN/DWDM System developed by SINA Co. is a state-of-the-art optical transport solution designed to deliver ultra-high-capacity data transmission over dense wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM) networks. With its scalable Packet Optical Transport Network (POTN) architecture, the system efficiently handles the aggregation, grooming, and transport of diverse data types, including Ethernet, OTN, and SDH/SONET signals, at a terabit scale. The system comprises a wide array of advanced processing cards, including controller cards, interface cards, 10G/100G/200G OTN transponders and muxponders, OTN/ETH regenerator cards, optical amplifiers, optical cross-connect cards, and ROADM cards, among other elements seamlessly working together.
For about two years, I led a highly skilled team of hardware designers, FPGA developers, and Embedded C software engineers, driving the successful design and development of this complex product.
