Autonomous Robotic Wireless Sensing Demo at the Nokia/NYU Brooklyn 6G Summit 2025

Thrilled to share our demo at the Nokia/NYU Brooklyn 6G Summit 2025 (Nov 5-7)!
Our team presented an autonomous robot capable of detecting the angle of arrival (AoA) of a FR3 wireless transmitter, navigating toward it, and localizing the source through triangulation, all visualized in real time on a LiDAR-generated map. The demo showcased how sensing and wireless intelligence can converge to enable robots that not only communicate but also perceive and interpret their wireless environments. The system integrates spatial signal processing with robotic navigation, demonstrating how 6G technologies could enable devices to sense and adapt to their wireless environments in real time.
Alongside the demo, we showcased posters on efficient signal detection and baseband processing using spatial arrays, including comparisons between traditional implementations and HLS-based hardware kernels for performance optimization.
